Entities also include items, vehicles like boats and minecarts, armor, and even projectiles like arrows, snowballs, and tridents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, if you want to use the kill command to kill absolutely every entity within the loaded area of the map, including your own player, just do the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>If you're on PC, press the forward slash key (\/) to bring up the chat box. Plus, if you have a command block, you can apply a kill command to it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let me give you a quick rundown through some examples that you can have fun with when using the kill command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>\/kill @s can be used to kill a single player, and that will always be the player executing the command.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\/kill [player], where [player] is replaced by the name of any random player in the world, will kill that player alone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\/kill @e, which we talked about before, can be modified to either kill all entities of a certain type or all entities except a specific type.\n<ul>\n<li>\/kill @e[type=!player] is the most useful \"kill all\" command that you can get in Minecraft. It will kill all mobs, item entities, and so on. The only thing it won't kill is your own player and other players. You can replace \"player\" in the command with whichever entity type you don't want to kill.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\/kill @e[type=item] is the command to kill all items in the loaded area of the map and nothing else. Replacing \"item\" in the command with an enemy type like \"creeper\", \"bat\", and so on, will only kill that type of enemy, and no other.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can even add multiple types to exempt in your command to kill.
