You can try moving closer to your router, or try restarting it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But instead of your internet connection being the culprit, you might keep getting kicked out of the Hulu app because of software problems, like the Hulu app being outdated, or your app cache being corrupted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I actually faced this problem recently because of a corrupted cache. It didn't take me long to fix it, though. You can find out if this is what you're facing by checking a server <a href=\"https:\/\/downdetector.com\/status\/hulu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">status page<\/a>. If it is, there's really nothing you can do other than sit back and wait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to, you can always contact the Hulu support team and <a href=\"https:\/\/help.hulu.com\/s\/contactsupport\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">ask them for help<\/a>. Hopefully, they get back to you soon on when the problem would be fixed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to the devices that you can use the streaming service on, there are a bunch. Bad Wireless Connection<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A lot of the time, an unstable internet connection can cause Hulu to keep kicking you out. If this is what you're dealing with, you probably have a bad signal and are far away from your router. You can try moving closer to it if you're on your phone or laptop. But if you're streaming Hulu on your smart tv, you'll have to move your router closer to you instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from an unstable connection, your internet speed might not be the best. You probably already know this if you have trouble loading things. You can go to sites like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.speedtest.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Ookla<\/a> to figure this out. Once you've figured that it's your internet speed that's the culprit, you can maybe ask your ISP to upgrade your package.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Youre_Using_VPNs\"><\/span>2. You're Using VPNs<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The issue can pop up if you're using a VPN. Considering that virtual private networks tunnel your IP, this isn't a surprise, as Hulu might see you as a threat: you'll be breaking their regional restrictions. To take care of this, you'll have to turn your VPN off, and then try again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All you have to do is launch the virtual private network, and then click on the Disconnect button. You should immediately be logged out of the server that you were on now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can only do this on your phone or computer, as smart TVs like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.safetydetectives.com\/blog\/how-to-install-a-vpn-on-a-samsung-smart-tv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Samsung TV<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/discussions.apple.com\/thread\/254470140\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Apple TV<\/a> don't really let you download and use VPNs (unless it's on your router).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Glitch_on_Streaming_Device\"><\/span>3. Glitch on Streaming Device<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You may not be able to use Hulu because the streaming device you're on is glitching out. If it's a minor glitch, you should easily be able to take care of it with a simple restart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I probably don't need to tell you how to do this, but if the power cycle\/ reboot doesn't work, you can always force restart your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carlcare.com\/ng\/tips-detail\/reboot-android-smartphone\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Android<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-lk\/guide\/iphone\/iph8903c3ee6\/ios\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">iPhone<\/a>. You can check the guides I linked to for instructions, and hopefully get to start streaming Hulu again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_Outdated_App\"><\/span>4. Outdated App<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hulu app might be kicking you out because it's bugging out. You probably are dealing with an outdated app if this is the case. Usually, fixing it is easy, as you only have to download the latest app firmware: all the latest patches to get rid of any bugs will be installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To update Hulu app on an iOS or Android device, you only have to open the Apple or Google Play store, locate Hulu, and then click on the Update button that's next to it. On computers, you'll have to head to your device's app store and do the same too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the process to follow gets a bit more complicated on smart TVs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's what you do to stream Hulu again on Samsung TVs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Turn your Samsung Smart TV on, and make sure that it's connected to the internet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Get hold of your TV remote<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press the Smart TV Hub button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to the Apps menu<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find and select Hulu app, using the Ok button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You should see a menu open up<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the Update button from the menu<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait for your Samsung TV to start downloading the latest software version for the app<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the streaming service afterward, and then check whether Hulu kicks you out still<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's what you do and fix the Hulu application on Apple TVs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Open your Apple TV, and make sure that it has an internet or ethernet connection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Get hold of your TV remote<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to your home screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the Apple Store icon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the Purchased tab from the drop-down menu at the top of the screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to the Hulu app<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on it once you've found it - tap the Update button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait for the update to complete<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Log into your Hulu account and check whether the problem is gone or not now<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/cpuforever.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Hulu-Loading-Screen-on-the-Mobile-1200x800.jpg\" alt=\"Hulu Loading Screen on the Mobile\" class=\"wp-image-7324\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cpuforever.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Hulu-Loading-Screen-on-the-Mobile.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/cpuforever.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Hulu-Loading-Screen-on-the-Mobile-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cpuforever.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Hulu-Loading-Screen-on-the-Mobile-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5_Corrupted_Files_Cache_Data\"><\/span>5. Corrupted Files &amp; Cache Data<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Your Hulu account might also be acting up because its cache data has become corrupted. Basically, this means that there's something wrong with its temporary memory. This may sound a bit hard to fix, but you can take care of it in a couple of easy steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, I'll mention how to clear cache on browsers, if you're using your web browser instead of the Hulu app. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's what you do on Google Chrome:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Open Google Chrome.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the three-dot menu in the top right corner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the More Tools button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Clear Browsing Data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select All Time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check the Cached Images and Files box<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uncheck any items that you do not want to delete<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the Clear Data button to confirm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's what you do on Mozilla Firefox:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Open Mozilla Firefox.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the three-line menu icon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose Options, and then Privacy &amp; Security<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Head to the Cookies and Site Data section<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the Clear Data button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tick the Cached Web Content box<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uncheck any other items that you don't want to delete<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the Clear button<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's what you do on Opera:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Launch Opera.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the Opera menu button in the top left corner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on Settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Privacy &amp; Security from the left sidebar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll down to the Clear Browsing Data section<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the Choose What to Clear button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check the Cached Images and Files option<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uncheck any items that you don't want to delete<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap the Clear button to confirm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>With that out of the way, here's how you can clear Hulu app cache on iPhones:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Open the Settings app<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll down until you find the Hulu application<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll down<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap the Clear Temp Data button<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's how you do this on an Android mobile device:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Open the Settings app &gt; Apps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Look for Hulu<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap Storage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the Clear Cache button<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to Windows computers, you can't clear an individual app's cache. So, you'll have to clear your system's cache as a whole. The thing is, doing this manually can be a bit of work. To make the whole process is easier, I'd recommend that you use a specialized tool like Ccleaner instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's how you use it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Download the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccleaner.com\/ccleaner\/download\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Ccleaner tool<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Launch it afterward, and then click on the Scan button next to the Clean Clutter option<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait for CCleaner to clear system's cache - there should be a confirmation message on the screen when it's done<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>But if you still want to use the system settings on Windows, check this article out for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alphr.com\/how-to-clear-the-cache-in-windows-10\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Windows 10<\/a> and this one for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xda-developers.com\/how-clear-cache-windows-11\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Windows 11<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's how you clear Hulu app cache on Macs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Open the Mac Finder &gt; Folder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type in ~\/Library\/Caches\/ into the window<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Go, and then search for Hulu<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proceed to drag its cache files into the Trash Bin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clear it afterward<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's what you do on Samsung TVs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Go to your Samsung TV settings menu<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on Apps &gt; Hulu<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the Clear Cache button<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's the deal - you can't clear an app's cache on Apple TVs, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bingegauge.com\/clear-apple-tv-cache\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">unless you uninstall it<\/a>. To do this, you'll have to find the Hulu app on your home screen, hold it down (with your remote's Click pad), and then tap Delete. However, instead of something minor, it can always be due to a more serious software issue too. If none of the above fixes worked, then the only fix left to try is deleting and then reinstalling Hulu app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's how you can delete Hulu on iPhones:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Go to your home screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hold the Hulu app down once you've found it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Remove App<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on Delete to confirm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's how you can delete Hulu on an Android device:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Go to your home screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find the Hulu application, and then hold it down<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose the Uninstall option<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's what you do on Windows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Click on the Search bar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type Control Panel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select it when it pops up<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose Programs &gt; Programs and Features<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search for Hulu<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Right-click on it when you find it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on Uninstall<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's what you do on Macs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Click on the Finder icon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Look for the Hulu app<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drag it to the Trash<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clear the bin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's what you do on Samsung TVs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Find Hulu from your home screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press and hold the Select button on your remote<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Remove<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on Remove again to confirm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I already touched on what to do on Apple TVs earlier - definitely refer to it again.
