But of course, this doesn't stop users from faking their age and making accounts. You should have a rule not allowing anyone who is below 13 on your server. Here's how you can make one:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Launch Discord, and then head to your server<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the plus sign next to 'Text Channel'<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the Create Channel option<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Give it a name, and then choose the Text option under 'Channel Type'<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the cog wheel or Edit button in the left hand corner next to the channel name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the Permissions bar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on Advanced Permissions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set the channel permissions so that everyone can see the channel. But it might be an option if you're dealing with a small server. Basically, you would watch your chat and then either mute, kick, or ban a user for breaking a specific rule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a few different ways to mute a user, but one that I personally like is taking away the role that gives them access to the main chat.
