None of them are too hard, as you can log into your dashboard and do it yourself, get a mod to do it or use a third-party tool, like the StreamLabs software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you're new to Twitch, it can take a while to figure out how to change your stream titles. Being smart with them, and making them catchy can get new viewers coming to you. I kept struggling with getting new viewers a while back until I tried this trick out. Now, having a witty title is something I prioritize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, if you want to know how to change Twitch stream title, I've taken a look at all 3 of the methods that you can try, and even some Keep in mind that your new title will have a 140-character limit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's how you can change stream title through the Stream Manager (on both mobile and PC):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Launch Twitch and then log into your Twitch account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on your profile icon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the Creator Dashboard for your Twitch channel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap the Stream Manager option, which is on a tab in the right side corner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the Stream Manager page, click on the Edit Stream Info button at the bottom<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait for a pop-up window to appear on the Stream page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill out the new Twitch title in the 'Title' section (make sure it is a catchy title<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the Done button to confirm and save the catchy stream title<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's a quick disclaimer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unless you change your stream title each time, it will stay the same for every live stream that you do. Always go back and edit this stream info.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Method_2_Get_Twitch_Mods_to_Change_the_Twitch_Stream_Title\"><\/span>Method 2: Get Twitch Mods to Change the Twitch Stream Title<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>While mods can change Twitch titles, they first need to have the Editor role: it lets mods access the channel's dashboard and edit stream info. If this is something that you want to let your mods do, here's how you can make them editors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Log into your Twitch account then go to your creator dashboard<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the hamburger icon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the Community button at the bottom<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the Roles Manager option<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the moderator that you want to give Editor to<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap on the Add New button in the top right corner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on Editor, and then confirm to let them change Twitch title<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once your Twitch mod has the Editor role, here's how they can change the title:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Log into Twitch account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the Twitch channel chat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the mod view dashboard that's in the bottom right corner of the chat box<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the pencil icon that's next to the stream title<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait for a broadcast option box to appear<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the top text box, and then change the stream title (make it catchy so users would want to click on the Twitch streams)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Method_3_Use_Broadcasting_Software\"><\/span>Method 3: Use Broadcasting Software<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly, you can use third-party tools, likeStreamlabs, and OBS to change stream titles. There actually are other good third-party software out there, but I prefer these two. There's no way that you would be able to edit stream titles, otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With that out of the way, let's get into some fixes that you can try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Solution_1_Update_Twitch_Mobile_app\"><\/span>Solution 1: Update Twitch Mobile app<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you're using the Twitch app, you might be dealing with some kind of bug. Most of the time, this issue pops up if you haven't updated the application in a while. Head to your app store, search for the Twitch app, and then click on the update button that is next to it. You should hopefully be able to change your stream's title and edit stream info now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Solution_2_Refresh_Your_Internet\"><\/span>Solution 2: Refresh Your Internet<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You might not be able to change your stream title because of your internet. It could be really dodgy, and not let you properly connect to Twitch's servers. Other than moving closer to your router, I'd also recommend disconnecting and reconnecting back to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you're trying to set a new stream title on your phone, or a Windows 11 computer, you can actually turn airplane mode on and off. You'd stop connecting to cellular networks which should refresh your connection. This can take care of any network bugs that are not letting you change your Twitch stream information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's what you do on Windows 11 computers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Click on the bottom right corner of the screen (which includes the audio and battery icons)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the Airplane Mode button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait around 30 seconds and then click Airplane Mode off and try to change your title while live streaming<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Here's what you can do on Android phones and iPhones:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Drag the bottom of the screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the plane icon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait around 30 seconds and then click the airplane button off<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Try and see if you can change the title of your Twitch stream now<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Solution_3_Restart_Phone_or_Computer\"><\/span>Solution 3: Restart Phone or Computer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Some users can only change their current title after restarting their phone or computer. Usually, this trick helps when there is some kind of system glitch that's lurking in the background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On phones, you can actually force reboot. It's essentially a more comprehensive restart method. When it comes to Androids, you just long hold the Power button for around 10 seconds, while on iPhones, it gets a bit more complicated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To force-reboot the iPhone 8 and later models, as well as the SE 2 and 3:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Press and then quickly let go of your Volume Up button, and then do the exact same thing on your Volume Down button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>iPhone 7 and 7 Plus:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Press and hold the Power button and Volume Down buttons until you see the Apple logo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>iPhone 6, 6S and SE (1st gen):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Press and hold down both the Power and Home until the Apple logo appears<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Solution_4_Wait_It_Out\"><\/span>Solution 4: Wait It Out<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>My last fix would be to try and wait things out. There's no way you would be able to change your Twitch stream title if the platform's servers are down. You don't just have to sit and wait, as there's a <a href=\"https:\/\/status.twitch.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">server status page<\/a> that you can check out. If you're in fact dealing with some kind of server issue, you would know from here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, you can contact the Twitch <a href=\"https:\/\/help.twitch.tv\/s\/contactsupport?language=en_US\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">support team<\/a> and ask when the problem would be solved. Be Funny<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Personally, I think having a funny title is one of the best ways to get viewers to click on your stream. They'd read the stream title name and want to click on it to see if your stream matches up with the same energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, how do you make a funny Twitch stream title? A good tip would be to make it witty, and include some pop culture trends or quotes in there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Use_Emotions\"><\/span>2.
