Although bots can help, they need to be on the server that the message was deleted on, and they can only track 100 messages at a time. You might not be able to see the deleted messages in case a lot of texts have been sent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Considering how encrypted Discord is, it shouldn't surprise you that you can't see deleted texts without third-party help. However, you can only add a bot to a server if you have administrative permissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With that out of the way, let's get into it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dyno_Bot\"><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dyno.gg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Dyno Bot<\/a><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Dyno is the most popular choice from the three. Most people use it not just to see deleted messages, but to listen to music and customize their server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dyno's deleted messages tracking feature is called Audit Log. If you use the free version of the bot, you will only be able to track ten messages at a time. On the other hand, the premium version lets you track around hundred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/dyno.gg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">this link<\/a> to download the bot to your discord server<\/li><li>Enter your account credentials and sign into your Discord account<\/li><li>Click on the Action Log button on the left<\/li><li>Select the server that you want to add the bot to<\/li><li>Click server's icon<\/li><li>Toggle Enable Module feature from the pop up list<\/li><li>Choose the actions that you want to log<\/li><li>Tap the All the Deleted Messages option (but you can also choose any other features that you want the bot to come with)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As mentioned, you will only see 10 deleted or edited messages on the discord server Audit log without Premium Dyno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Logger_Bot\"><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/top.gg\/bot\/298822483060981760\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Logger Bot<\/a><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Message logger bot can help you check deleted messages on Discord too. Although it is a good choice, it does not take the number 1 spot as some users find its interface too advanced. If you're someone who is more tech-savvy, this might be something that you like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is what you do:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/top.gg\/bot\/298822483060981760\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Message Logger website<\/a><\/li><li>Click on the Invite button on the website<\/li><li>Choose discord servers from the list to see deleted or edited discord messages<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlike its counterpart above, you don't have to choose what features you want the bot to perform. However, you can still use it to get the job done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is how you use it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/betterdiscord.app\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">this site<\/a> and download Betterdiscord (you will be asked for your Discord version)<\/li><li>Download the MessageLoggerV2 Plugin<\/li><li>Open Discord app on your computer<\/li><li>Click the gear icon<\/li><li>Select User Settings option<\/li><li>Scroll down and then click on BetterDiscord header<\/li><li>Click Plugins from the BetterDiscord header<\/li><li>Select the Open Plugins Folder pop up<\/li><li>Open the folder that the MessageLoggerV2 plugin comes in<\/li><li>Drag the MessageLoggerV2 plugin and add it to the Plugins Folder in Discord<\/li><li>Switch on the MessageLoggerV2 plugin by toggling the checkbox on the screen<\/li><li>Click download Now to install any missing libraries<\/li><li>Enable both XenoLib and ZeresPluginLibrary after they have been installed<\/li><li>Right click on your server from the list<\/li><li>Open logs<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_Do_You_Report_Online_Harassment_On_Discord\"><\/span>How Do You Report Online Harassment On Discord?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>From my experience, most users want to know how to check deleted and edited messages, because they want to collect proof to report a user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In case a user is harassing you, you can either report them from your computer or smartphone. However, the process is a bit more complicated on your computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hence, I've discussed what to do on your phone first:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Launch the discord app\/site<\/li><li>Navigate to any message that you want to report<\/li><li>Press and hold it<\/li><li>Click on the Report button from the corner of the list<\/li><li>Select a type of report for the abusive message from the top menu<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On a computer, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Open discord page<\/li><li>Click Settings from the gear icon on the bottom right corner of the screen<\/li><li>Tap the Appearance option from the Advanced menu section<\/li><li>Toggle the switch next to Developer Mode on<\/li><li>Find a message from the user that you want to report, right-click on it, then select Copy ID. Paste this ID in a document as you might forget it otherwise<\/li><li>Right click on the username to get the user ID<\/li><li>After this, you will need the server ID.
