AMD has officially Launched Radeon HD 7950 series Graphic Card, based on 28nm Tahiti as its big brother Radeon HD 7970. Featuring 1792 stream processors, 112 TMUs, 32 ROPs and 384 Bit Wide GDDR5 memory interface upto 3GB memory.
AMD Reference clock speed 800MHz core, and 1250 MHz (5.0 GHz) effective GDDR5 Memory. Radeon HD 7950 due to its low power consumption as compare to Radeon HD 7970 requires only Two 6 Pin power connections as compare of Radeon 7970 which requires 6+8 pin power connections.
AMD Radeon HD 7950 has been launched by almost all Major Graphic Card manufactures today with estimated price tag of $449.
